NGI Certified Hygienic Bearing Housings are engineered for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and hygiene-critical processing environments where cleanability, durability, and compliance are non-negotiable.
Designed as a hygienic alternative to conventional bearing housings, these units feature smooth, cleanable geometry, high-strength polymer construction, and sealing systems suitable for high-pressure washdown. The housings are IP69K rated and certified to recognised hygiene standards, making them ideal for conveyor systems and processing equipment exposed to frequent cleaning cycles.
Manufactured in accordance with ISO housing standards and compatible with standard insert bearings, NGI Hygienic Bearing Housings allow for straightforward replacement or upgrade from traditional bearing units without changes to shafting or mounting layouts.
Certified Hygienic Bearing Housings
NGI bearing housings are certified to EHEDG, 3-A, and USDA standards and are IP69K rated for high-pressure washdown applications. The range includes multiple housing types and sizes, fitted with stainless steel or ceramic insert bearings to suit a wide variety of conveyor and processing systems.
The housings are designed in accordance with ISO3228:2013 and accept insert bearings that conform to ISO9628:2006. External dimensions are matched to standard bearing units, making them suitable for hygienic replacement of conventional housings without modification to existing equipment.
